The difference between wet fitness clothes and dry fitness clothes.
Preparation before use
Wet fitness clothes: Before using wet fitness clothes, you need to spray water on the electrode sheet. This is to enhance the conductivity between the electrode and the skin and ensure that the electrical stimulation during exercise is more effective.
Dry fitness clothes: There is no need to spray water on the electrode sheet, which simplifies the preparation process before exercise and is convenient for users. Dry kits are more commonly used for personal use, while wet kits are more commonly used by customers in commercial settings such as gyms and beauty salons.
Applicable usage scenarios
Wet fitness clothes: Generally speaking, for commercial places such as gyms or beauty salons, different customers need to use the same set of equipment. Since wet equipment has many adjustable straps, it can be suitable for customers of different body shapes. For example, in a busy gym, people of all shapes and sizes come to exercise, and wet wet suits can be quickly adjusted to accommodate more individuals. In addition, for some gyms and beauty salons, this can save operating costs because they do not need to purchase multiple wet suits for different body shapes. Therefore, wet equipment is the best choice for commercial places.
Dry fitness clothes: If it is for personal use or for those who exercise from home to the gym, then a drysuit is the most suitable and ideal choice. For individuals who exercise at home or commute to the gym, a drysuit provides a worry-free experience. You only need to warm up before exercise and start training when you start to sweat slightly. The moisture produced by body perspiration is enough for the drysuit to work effectively.
Training experience and portability
Wetsuit: Since it is designed for multi-user commercial environments, the structure of a wetsuit is generally more solid. However, it may be slightly bulkier compared to a drysuit.
Drysuit: The design of a drysuit is optimized for personal comfort and performance. In addition, it is lightweight and easy to carry, allowing users to train anytime, anywhere in a variety of exercise environments. Whether you are traveling, exercising in the park, or in a home gym, a drysuit can be easily carried and used.
The electrode pads and cables inside the two types of clothing are different from each other, but the power boxes and software they use are the same.
The dry suit only fits one specific size, whilst a single size of the wet suit can accommodate three sizes. For example, the M size can be adjusted to fit S, M, and L body types in a wet suit option.
This is because the material of wet suits is more durable than that of dry suits, so a single wet suit can be adjusted to multiple sizes.
Dry suit fits one specific size (covering XS-4XL). You can choose the right size based on your chest and hip circumference, weight, and height.
Dry suits, unlike traditional wet suits that require spraying water or applying gel, our dry suits use dry electrode pads – you can start training immediately after putting them on. No water is needed, and individual customers have their own suits, which is more hygienic and convenient.
